Early check-in
On the day of arrival, you can request an early check-in (1:00 p.m.). Early check-in is only possible based on availability. The cost for an early check-in is EUR 20.00.

Check out later
If your room is not going to be occupied by other guests on your day of departure, you can make use of a "lazy Sunday". For the price of 47.50 you can stay in the room until the last ferry departs (9 pm).

Have you made a direct booking with Grand Hotel Opduin (by telephone, e-mail or via www.opduin.nl)? Then we won't be so difficult about canceling, in order for us to process a cancellation, you must always email it to info@opduin.nl. Unfortunately, if we have not received a written cancellation, we will be unable to process it.

Don't worry up until  3 day's before arrival
Any cancellations up until 72 hours (3 days) before arrival are free of charge. For this we keep as arrival time 15:00 hours. For example, if you have reserved for arrival May 15th, you may cancel free of charge until 3 p.m. on May 12th.

Cancelling within 3 day's before arrival
Cancelling within 3 day's before arrival is unfortunately not without charge. We will charge 100% of the overnight stay and any booked beauty treatments. The costs for breakfast, dinner and city tax will be cancelled free of charge.

Booked with a third party?  
Then please contact the party you have booked with (for example Booking.com) and ask about their cancellation policy.

On request
Dogs are allowed in some rooms in the hotel. In order to guarantee the quality of life and quality, we do not accept unlimited reservations with a dog. That is why a stay with a dog is always on request via our front desk: 0222-317445 or info@opduin.nl. The costs are 32,00 euros per dog per night.

Stay of the dog
We provide a dog pillow and a water bowl in the room. The front desk has nice walking routes and information about the leash obligation. The room will be cleaned extra after departure.

Dogs not in the restaurant
We grant the other guests a pet-free restaurant, so your dog can rest in the room during breakfast and dinner.

Pet-free floor
An entire hotel floor is kept pet-free. Do you have allergies? Please let us know at the time of booking.

On the spot you will pay 4,00 per person per night municipal taxes. Furthermore, if you book directly with us, you do not pay any reservation or service costs.

A breakfast in Opduin is simply part of the experience. You do not pay anything extra for breakfast, because it is included in the price.

Have you booked a West Hampton family home? Then breakfast is not included, you can book this for 26,- per adult and 13,- per child. 

You can have breakfast between 8 and 10:30 am. 

You can park for free at Opduin. We have a limited number of parking spaces for our guests. When the parking lot is full, you can park your car at the bigger parking lot at the Nikadel, to do this you will need a Texel e-vignette.

Texel vignet
You can arrange parking on Texel online via https://www.texelevignet.nl/. You will need this vignet for all public parking on the island, including all beach exits.

As an Opduin guest you can use the following facilities:

Swimming pool
The pool is open from 7am to 11pm. Reservation is not necessary. Do you want to swim in a quiet moment? Then we recommend going between 11 a.m. and 4 p.m. On tuesday there are swimming lessons for children from the island between 2 and 7 pm, which means the pool is closed. 

Sauna
The Finnish sauna and Turkish steam bath can be rented privately. An hour costs 12,50,- per person. It is necessary to book this in advance, last minute there is often no room left.

Massage chair and solarium
Did you book directly with the hotel? Then you will receive a token from us for the massage chair or the solarium. Would you like another coin or have you booked through a booking site, the massage chair costs 9 euros per 10 minutes and the solarium costs 11 euros for 6 minutes.

It is preferable to book a massage or facial treatment before arrival to avoid disappointment. View the overview and prices here.

Buying a ticket for the boat in advance does not give priority to a certain departure time. You do go through the cash register a little faster, the queue for pre-purchased tickets is often a lot shorter. You can buy your e-ticket via www.teso.nl.
