Wellness
Relax in the spa with a treatment or massage. Start the morning with a lap in the pool or dive into the sauna or steam room. When the weather is nice, take a run through the dunes and when it's raining, exercise in the gym. A round of golf is not complete with fifteen minutes in the massage chair. Texel has the most hours of sunshine in the country, but Opduin also has an indoor solarium.
Finnish sauna and Turkish steam bath
At Opduin, you can relax wonderfully in our Finnish sauna and Turkish steam bath, located directly next to the swimming pool. The wellness facilities are freely accessible daily for hotel guests between 4:30 PM and 7:00 PM.
Would you like to use the sauna outside these hours? Then you can privately reserve the sauna and Turkish steam bath for an hour for €12.50 per person per hour.
Please note; from May 24 to October 31, the sauna and Turkish steam bath are closed due to maintenance work.
Fitness area
A basic fitness area. With a cross trainer, a running belt, a rowing machine and several weights. With the airconditioning on the room can be kept cool and water is available for a refreshment.
Solarium
A nice skin color even in winter. The solarium, a quick tanner, costs 11,-.
Beach cabins
Our Texel beach cabin builder puts together about 10 basic beach cabins for us each season. With a parasol, two sun loungers, a wind screen and an own place on the wide spread beach of Texel. Reserve quickly, because they sell out fast.

Bicycle cellar
A safe spot to park your bicycle is in Opduin's garage. Your bicycle is dry, behind a closed door and there are sufficient sockets available for charging the electric bicycle. With your room key you have access to the bicycle cellar.
Charging electric cars
There are 6 charging stations available for charging electric cars. You pay with your own charging card or you can borrow a card at the reception.
We do not reserve the charging stations, you can use them when a space is available.
