Restaurant of Opduin
We created the restaurant at the foot of the dunes of De Koog. Delicious food, extensive choice, as many local products as possible and everything is always fresh and homemade. You choose the starters from the chefs in the kitchen, the main and dessert from the menu.
You no longer have to choose the starters in advance. The chef's brigade prepares and serves an extensive selection of regular classics and daily changing seasonal dishes every evening directly from the kitchen. We invite you to pick up your favorite dishes and simply try everything the island has to offer.
Texel takes food seriously. Here too, attention and patience yield beautiful products. Of course the world famous lamb, but also completely antibiotic-free pigs, limousin cattle, dairy, wine, eggs, special vegetables, asparagus, beer, lots of fresh fish, juicy fruit and berries and herbs from nature.

Opduin is an ambassador of the Slow Food movement and strives to do as much justice as possible to the principles: Authentic, small-scale, sustainably produced, regional, seasonal and transparent about the origin.
Living room feeling
Join us in the evening and be pampered by Kevin Vonk's service team. A relaxing corner for two or with the whole family making good noise, it's all possible. As a hotel, we have taken into account the wishes of all our guests. A quick bite to eat after a warm day at the beach or an extensive dinner until the candles start to flicker. Kids have the space, and you don't have to drive after dinner.
